Who it suits
Wildlife and photography enthusiasts, families with children old enough to sit still on a jeep for three hours, and couples who want nature as well as palaces. Not designed for people who need a guaranteed sighting.
Fitness and health notes
Safaris start at dawn, in open vehicles on rough tracks, which is uncomfortable for people with back or neck problems. Mornings are cold in winter and afternoons are hot in summer. The park is usually closed for the monsoon, roughly July to September. The fort at Ranthambore involves a steep climb.
Accessibility
Entering and leaving safari vehicles needs a high step. Tell us about mobility needs so a suitable vehicle and seat can be requested.
